Green Flag winners

Cardiff has more Green Flag parks and green spaces than Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham or Sheffield.

There are 14 winners in Cardiff North. At the bottom of this page, you will find an interactive map of them all.

Seven places in Cardiff North have won a Green Flag Full Award, in recognition of their environmental efforts, visitor facilities and community involvement. The winners are:

  • Forest Farm

  • Hailey Park

  • Heath Park

  • Lisvane and Llanishen Reservoirs

  • Parc Cefn Onn

  • Taff’s Well Park

  • Thornhill Cemetery

Another seven spaces have won the Green Flag Community Award, including one new addition in Tongwynlais!

  • Ainon Baptist Church [NEW]

  • Canolfan Beulah Garden

  • Coed y Felin

  • Forest Farm Allotments

  • Llwynfedw Gardens

  • Maes y Coed Community Garden

  • Whitchurch Community Garden
