Cadi Nominated For Dog of the Year
If you live in Cardiff North, I need your help for a very special “pawblic” vote.
Cadi has been shortlisted for The Kennel Club’s Westminster Dog of the Year 2025. You can vote for her here.
The winner will be announced on Thursday 11 September.

This year, the event celebrates dogs as members of the family, highlighting the importance of the human-animal bond and the joys dog ownership brings.
We recently welcomed the government’s announcement that service personnel living in military accommodation will no longer need permission to keep up to two pets.
The event will also draw attention to issues such as pet-friendly housing, responsible ownership, breeding, training, and socialisation.
The Sir David Amess Pawblic Vote, dedicated to the late MP and dog welfare advocate Sir David Amess, will be decided on votes from people across the country.
Additional judging will be carried out on the day by Dogs Trust, The Kennel Club, and guest judge, previous winner Mims Davies MP, who will consider the contestants on their dog-related deeds.
